Craig Van Der Stelt and the Zenith Racing team have had a busy winter and this Saturday night they are set to debut a new look and a new car number at Murray Bridge Speedway’s "The Bill WIGZELL, Battle at the Bridge". Craig blasted off some of the rust last weekend at a practice at Murray Bridge and the team are confident of a good showing against the big field expected at the Bridge.

“Over the winter the team have really been working hard to get prepared for the coming season,” said Craig. “We have a fresh 410ci engine thanks to Baines Race Engines in Adelaide, a new truck, a new mule, new team crew shirts, a fresh look for the car and we’ve decided to run the number 2 on the car for the season. I have to thank the whole team for the effort they have put in over the winter. I don’t think we have been this prepared ever before the start of the season and we can’t wait for Saturday night to kick off the season.”

The Zenith Racing team is hoping to expand their horizons and get out on the road during the 2008/09 racing season and perhaps visit some race tracks that they have never been to before. “The Zenith Racing team will be running nearly all the races in South Australia during the season with the hope to make a few trips over the border for some SRA and WSS events when there are breaks in the SA schedule,” enthused Craig. “The team are excited about the prospect of getting out on the road and hitting some of the big races on the schedule. We couldn’t do this without the support of our sponsors and we want to thank all of them for their help with the upcoming season.”
